The Celts are an
Indo-European people, whose ancestors founded a new
culture in Europe at the end of the Bronze Age (900-600
BC). The Celts mastered iron, and forged weapons so
valuable that the owner took them with him to his grave.
They also mastered horsemanship, which gave them
mobility. The combination of power and mobility allowed
their rapid spread. There were four Celtic
invasions of Ireland.
The Luigni, descendants of Lugh, are part of the
Second Invasion of Ireland.
